There's currently a beta feature that allows someone to trigger on a sync activity when there's a sync error that was very helpful at my past company.  It was a constraint on the Sync activity if I recall correctly.  Having moved on to another company I was sad to learn that this was not GA yet.  This is a functionality that Marketo has needed for years now, and I'd love to see this go GA - as it was very helpful at my former company.  Thanks! ...
