Hi Tom,This is expected. Fields created in Salesforce do not automatically map to existing Marketo fields. Please submit a support ticket and ask for the fields to be merged together.
Sales Person is the entity that owns Person records for sales and marketing purposes. Marketo Users cannot be created over the API and must be invited through the UI by an administrator.
As a follow up to this, Chrome's last update didn't mesh well with TinyMCE (the software that powers the text editor). A patch was rolled out late last week to fix.
Why not just host the landing page and form in Design Studio?
I am getting the MarketoGUID returned from activity endpoints over the REST API since the release pushed a couple weeks ago. Are you calling the applicable endpoints?

Their email server could be sending Marketo mixed messages with bounce replies (possibly in an attempt to get you to stop emailing them!). You should file a Support ticket for some assistance in interpreting the bounce replies Marketo is receiving.

After doing some internal research it looks like it's a known issue with a patch going out in the next few days.
