How do you get around the reporting issue that these were not leads created, can I manually restate Mkto Created on and push that value back into the created date because this will throw off all my reports in RCE.
We've been using Ringlead to do a batch merge and found that when we ran the merge, all the records are now showing as the create date both on the SFDC and Marketo record as being on the day of the merge? Is there any way around this? When you merge a record in Marketo manually does this also happ...
Hi Maggie,You want to make sure that your sample size is large enough so you could run the test again, or it could simply mean that there is no difference. If you are asking from a Marketo functionality how a winner is chosen, that's a different question entirely. The likelihood of it being exactl...
I'm a big fan of strikeiron/Informatica. High quality data, easy integration with Marketo, it's a simple web hook, the codes are super detailed so you can write campaigns to auto segment and put folks on an exclusion list. And it's really affordable. I did a bake off between Informatica and some ...
I definitely see this in all new instances, but in the old ones I haven't seen them roll out this change in all of them yet. It does get a bit confusing now as sometimes there are two fields for source where as before i knew that the right one had lead in the name.

What is the smart list member of eng program + visited web page not providing that you need? I assume that you want more than just the list because that will only give you any person...
It is a bit hand waving but compare all the campaigns and programs that you are doing in an automated fashion, and calculate Full time employee man hours to replicate that in an alternate platform. I think this is what you are getting at right? To justify budget or keeping Marketo on as a tool etc...
I second David's approach. I did the same thing too. I have used both Reach Force and Ringlead. It's all in the data.
An easy way to check this is go to the admin section, click on field management and look at which source field is being mapped to which field in salesforce. I have noticed recently in the newer marketo instances, the field that used to be called lead source is now labeled source. I have also notic...
You can find that information in the Email Link Performance report if you sent that newsletter out in as an email. It will track both unique people and number of clicks.
