Yeah we have form fillouts, list uploads, etc. update the temp field, then the temp field change triggers concatenation on the real field. For example, my Marketo/SFDC field form contact form comments is Comments on Form. But the web form writes to Comments on Form Import.
I was under the impression that if you upload to a list within a program, you have to choose an AP. It's starred to indicate required.

I agree with everyone that this is confusing, because if you upload a list to a program, you're forced to choose an Acquisition Program for new people. However, if you add to the list a different way, say, through a non-Marketo webform to API, it doesn't set AP. (Guess how I found this out...)
