Marketo can't write to any other field on SFDC Campaign Member other than Member Status. From Marketo Champion Brooke Bartos: You can do a one-time exact copy of the instance. But the instance they are copying to has to be pure and new. So you could fully build and test in Sandbox, and then replicate when they're ready to go live, but they can't touch production until then.

I would assume this is an issue with your vendor, go back to them and make them fix it 😀
