I don't see why that should not work. You have to click that email from a real email send to you in order to populate the Marketo tracking token correctly. A click from the email preview or a sample send won't cut it.
If I am understanding the first suggestion, are you saying: Keep all of the emails in the engagement program streams and set the cadence in the smart campaign? No, I wouldn't say that. Usually you set your cadence in the "Stream Cadence" in your Engagement Program. You can set your emails to be se...
What do you mean by "nested"? You have an Engagement Program, that Engagement Program has Streams, and in these streams you are not using emails, but default programs, right? And these default programs you call nested? Or does nested mean, that the default program lives underneath the Engagement Pro...
You're right. You can't "see" the Custom Object in the sense that you could view it as a list or export it. The purpose for the CO to exist in Marketo is to be used in Smart Lists for filtering persons. We have a couple of COs being linked to the Company object, and if you filter on them ("Has Custo...

You might want to take a look at the option to not use a filter, but the trigger "is added to list", so the campaign automatically runs after you updated your list.And...
Hey Stephanie, even after contemplating on your setup some more I don't find the error. One last try: Can it be you're violating global Communication Limits? Have you looked at the Activity History of your 5 test records to see if there's any indication as to why the email wasn't sent? And two opinion...
Yes, true. How about the "relative" time constraints available on the Filled Out Form filter? This week, last week, this month, last month could give you a solid indication of development, couldn't it?
Yes, the "group by" function is limited to database fields. So you can't group by date of form submission. Have you looked into Custom Columns? They might give you what you need. Create a couple of Smart Lists - in "Database" preferably - and have filters like "Has submitted form in past week" and "...
