Just a bit of a note, not so much on the functionality, but on what this checkbox is supposed to do. Depending on where you're located, someone might consider this to be a "pre-checked box." That the user has to actively opt-out instead of actively opt-in. If you're in Canada, for example, you cann...
The Workspaces can definitely be set up so that they see one or more partitions, and one partition can be accessed by more than one workspace. As long as you do not have duplicate email addresses in your database, the activity will be tied to the record, not the partition or workspace. The one word ...
Just as a note on the Email Activity Filter ... this will not identify your bots, it will just filter them out of your reports, so there's no way of knowing if someone who used to open your email but now does not was filtered out because they were a bot, or if they just decided to stop reading.
@Sreekanth_Reddy given the updates expected related to Apple Mail Privacy Protection, specifically that there is the possibility that any email that hits the Apple Mail servers will trigger an open, will this type of activity be filtered out by the bot activity filter, or would this (the Apple Mail)...
I, too, prefer the marking of the record and being able to filter on that activity. This would be helpful in comparing emails sent prior to activating vs. after. Not sure about your current setup, but I can explain how we have thing set up for when we might need to send the first invite out numerous times. We do not use batch email sends, instead, we use a combo of static lists, smart lists, email assets, and smart campaigns. When the campaign is not synced ...
If you want to set up a list subscription, we have something similar set up to see how many people fill out a form during the past week. We set up the smart list with the filter of Filled Out Form and then add the constraint of Date of Activity, and have it be within the past week. Then we set up a ...
Anyone in the wait step will continue in their flow, even if you turn the campaign off, as they've already qualified to run through the campaign. Depending on your setup, you could pause people and then when you're ready again, you could return them to normal. They won't get content while paused. I...
The distribution will be those captured by the smart list as it's set up at point in time it's scheduled to run. If you're a little nervous, you can check your distribution after you've made the edit to the SL by clicking on the underlined portion of the "Set to affect around XXXXX people" and veri...
While, yes, you would have to store the information in a Marketo field, you could also use Program Member Custom Fields to have a more flexible field (like "Lunch Choice" on a registration form that might change from program to program). So, if this info would be changing frequently, this could be a...
