Now that program member custom fields (PMCF) are available for our use, I'm curious as to how we can use these in our reporting? They cannot be used in smart lists - when using smart lists to show a simple grid of member data - since that just uses data from lead records (when we want the data to appear in the grid). They're not available in RCE - which is a shame, since this is where we do most of our reporting/analysis (especially using the Program Membership Analysis - you would think that these would be contained here by default).
Any progress on reporting PMCF? We understand that it is still not in 2023 product roadmap due to lack of interest from clients 🙂
Hello.
We are also interested with such features. Any news on this one?
Reporting capabilities for PMCF are quite limited as of now within the platform. Users mostly use the APIs to extract and report on the PMCF data.
Is there any update with reporting on PMCF?
No updates yet. Using the PMCF API to access the PMCF data is still the way to go.

What are you trying to accomplish exactly? Reporting is a very broad area.
Here's a very common use case. All URLs that drive to our website - whether it's email, social, LinkedIn Lead Gen forms, content syndication, etc. - contain properly structured UTM parameters. Whenever someone submits a form, these values are passed to the form and included with the submission. Within every Marketo program where a "fills out form" smart campaign exists, we transfer these values to the PMCFs of that program:
On a regular basis, we would like to pull a report of, let's say, all program members with an "Avanade PMCF UTM Source" equals/contains "LinkedIn" (BTW, when using PMCFs as a constraint in the "member of program" filter, "CONTAINS" isn't even an option!). I would expect to see a report - probably in RCE - that lists every person and the associated program where they became a member via LinkedIn.
Hello.
Actually, we are using subscription report to share campaign information to our internal stakeholders. However, when we use PMCF to manage specificities at campaign level, we aren't able to share this information through automated subscription report to our stakeholders.
API here and building a complete ecosystem just to send a simple seems a little bit oversized compared to what we try to achieve. 😁

Yeah, not possible right now. You can't pull PMCF into either People Performance Reports nor Smart Lists, and these are the only entities you can subscribe to.
PMCFs are only visible from the Program Member Tab, so you can export them manually, but that's it.
@Badsah_Mukherji do you have any insight?
Hi, sorry, I have not been receiving notifications in email when someone tags me in Community. Have to fix that. In any case, Marketo Analytics PM Clark Kibler has started discovery on PMCF in reporting with at least one customer interview, I believe. If you are interested in discussing use cases and requirements, let me know and I'll connect you.
Any update here, interested to learn about reporting for those fields, specially because the Object Descriptions contains Company, so I am thinking it could be good for account scoring....
@Dan_Stevens_ sent you a private message regarding this. Thanks!
@Marissa_Memmott and @Katja_Keesom , I have forwarded your names to Clark. Thanks for your interest.
Is there anywhere I can find more info on this or do I need to talk to a PM?
My team also have a valid use case for PMCF reporting and would like to share with Marketo product team on this.
I'd be really interested to get involved too. Have a use case that would be great to include.
Hi there, I'm also very interested in any insights about using PMCFs, particularly in reporting. Was very excited to see this new option, but it seems very limited as to what we can actually use it for. Any updates?
