We're not using period costs (shhh don't tell the people who created the MCE, there are so many questions about period costs!)
I find that it helps to have a naming convention to filter out operational emails. We use EM for marketing emails and AR for autoresponders. So a webinar invite would be "EM 01 Invite #1" but the confirmation email would be "AR Confirmation".

Hi Renee, do you have a channel called "Invited"? The program status naming convention in the smart list is "channel > status" so I would expect to see "Webinar > Registration Error" In order to test your registration flow you need to fill out the registration form.
Personally I never use a real person's email as the sender. If it's supposed to come from a person, I create an alias for them that I (or the email marketing team) receives. Then I escalate any real responses to the "sender."
