No reason you couldn't replicate the logic in a Velocity script though - and it would calculate at send time, just like a Smart List is real-time.
You could do it by exporting user activity logs via the API (or by going into each person individually and downloading it). Then you could manipulate the data to work out the score at certain times. But it would be absolutely brutal to do for more than a handful of people 🙂 This sort of thing is be...
It's based on program/email membership. So if you are using: * Nested emails, then when the email is cast through the engagement program people are made members of the email program.* Nested programs, then when the smart campaign is called a person is made a member of the nested program. In either c...
So I would be interested to know how this works too. In past lives, we used to have access to Account fields directly, but my memory is that Marketo Support did something custom to allow us to write to Account fields (for person accounts). There's a duplicate Contact behind every Person Account too...
Seems like it might be better if you combined the engagement programs into one, if possible? So each engagement program is a stream. Alternatively, the "traffic cop" program might work too, so all triggers flow into one smart campaign, and then you control which engagement program they enter from th...
When you say "we have run test leads" do you mean via the Facebook Ads interface? If memory serves, you won't see anything in Marketo until a REAL, live person fill in the form. I know, annoying. It basically means that the automation can't run for the first person (or people) that complete the ad ...
Ah - will it not be supported in the future @SanfordWhiteman ? I didn't realise you could pop the JSON-LD in the head like that to get around Marketo's removal of it. Is there better support for JSON-LD than microdata once the email gets to an ISP like Gmail?
Hi there, Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge this isn't possible, you can't extract report information via API. You would need to extract bulk activity information via the API for the activities you are interested in, and then construct the report on your side. Sorry!
When using default programs instead of nested emails in engagement programs, Marketo is checking for program membership to see if they qualify, not whether they have been sent the email. So that could be your issue. If before the cast triggers a particular person is NOT a member of the program that ...
You aren't able to see SFDC-synced custom objects in Person Detail (or indeed, anywhere obvious unfortunately!) So it's quite possible you have done everything correctly. Marketo Custom Objects will show up in Person Detail under "Custom Objects", but Salesforce Custom Objects won't. However, you ca...
