Actually, Greg, this is not true. Historically, Marketo/SFDC allowed the integration without a specific API subscription in SFDC, as they have done with a number of AppExchange products, but now appearing to be withdrawing this without saying so. We have some fields in SFDC on the Lead that we would now like to have on the Contact as well. They are currently mapped to the Lead object only (as they don't yet exist on the Contact).
