I've found a few of these so I thought maybe it would be good to have a discussion on holes in documentation. New users have a huge learning curve to tackle and it's easy for us to figure something out the hard way and just keep going. I haven't been writing any of this down, but as I've only been u...
In this instance there is no tag, just a text date generated by the script. I didn't know about that timezone issue though so I'll try that and see if it starts working.
This is a weird, but frustrating issue. Marketo tokens with velocity scripts don't work if they are plugged into an email template rather than the Email Editor. I wanted to hard code a send date for my UTM tags since otherwise everyone seems to either not set it or come up with some random date form...
Thank you for that solution. That give me a good starting point for other date scripts too and now I have a working expiration date. These emails will be triggered so it is a continuous promotion, the date is just to add some urgency. The trouble I've had elsewhere when trying to figure it out was a...
Thank you for this, something still seems to be wrong? This is what shows up what I plug that in the the Marketoemail script area:"$calNow.add($calConst.DATE,7) Our promo expires 7 days from today, which is ${date.format( $FRIENDLY_24H_DATETIME_WITH_FRIENDLY_TZ, $calNow, $defaultLocale,$defaultTimeZ...
I didn't see that, and I searched heavily for this answer. Anyway I tried that and nothing prints out. How do I get the date generated to show?

Here's what I have, but I can't seem to piece it together.## Get a java Calendar #set($x = $date.calendar)## Add 24 hours (hours=int code 10 - see list below) $x.add(10,168)#set( $inTimeZone =...
Is there a way to have a top level smart campaign that would do this for all sub campaigns? The program I'm currently working with is a batch email program that we copy each month for our newsletters. I can't create a wait step within those, there's only a smartlist.
This is a small thing, but I'd like to not send email to people who are out of office. I have a field that can be updated with a date, I just need a way to exclude leads from the smart list if the send date is before the date in the field.Basically instead of having a date here I'd like to have some...
