Hi thereAbsolutely not dumb - it just needs a small clarification on what Marketo sees as Lead/Contact.Marketo calls Lead and Contacts from your CRM all "Leads". If the person is a contact, use the "Lead Owner" option for the alert. Marketo will send the alert to the owner of either the Lead or Cont...
Hi. You'll need to set the profile of your Marketo sync user in Salesforce to only "see" leads where the email address is not empty. You can do this using custom permissions in Salesforce. You need what is called a "criteria-based sharing rule" in Salesforce. You can use this to only display to Marke...
Hi Candice - I'm hoping you went to Support with this, but just to close the loop, only ONE CRM system can by synced at a time through the sync. If you want to sync to a test environment we suggest you use a Marketo sandbox to do that sync, and sync your Marketo production with your CRM production.
I can't see a trigger being built for this any time soon, it'd put a huge load on the system. There's two options I've seen:1) The recurring campaign option Kim has used above (it's my preferred option)2) An "Email is Delivered" trigger, based on the last email delivered in the stream. Once that emai...
Hi DerrickYou will never actually be able to see the SFDC campaign statuses in Marketo. The functionality provided is the ability to sync programs and SFDC campaigns and to keep the statuses in sync, so essentially whatever program status the lead has, that will be the status they have in the SFDC c...
Hi - I'd be taking that directly to Marketo Support.
I would have thought you would have to do Kristen's suggestion and use cloned versions of the email in your second stream you send them to if you wanted to take this path. If you use the same emails in stream 2, my understanding is that Marketo would not send them to the same lead again, it wouldn't...
Hi Myllisa - No, there's no real workaround for that. You can still only use the email program for the "one email, once" scenario. As soon as you need scheduled or triggered email sends, you must use a smart campaign for this. For triggered emails you can use "Champion/Challenger" to get the A/B fun...
Hi - if you delete the lead from Salesforce, yes that removes the Lead Owner value. The lead will stop syncing to Salesforce and won't sync again until you tell it to.
Are you looking to stop an entire campaign from running, or are you looking to simply remove someone from a campaign if their owner changes? If the latter you're looking for the "Owner Changes" trigger (Only available if you have a CRM sync) and the "Remove from Flow" flowstep.
