It's a bug - I've logged it both for myself and for several customers. Log it and get Marketo to look at it for you. Only the workaround you've already mentioned has ever worked for me.
Use Support escalation to get around the Support person giving you that advice, it isn't correct. Find someone in Marketo support who understands this part of the sync process.Darrell is right though, Support can fix this but nobody out here can.
I'm making the assumption that you are using a Marketo LP as your "internal" page. You may be looking for the "Disable Munchkin Tracking" on the LP editor - it isn't there, it's in the LP template editor. You need to create a special version of your kiosk LP template with no tracking and then create...
Hi - this is likely a GUI/display or caching issue. Do a hard refresh (CTRL+F5) of the browser, log in and out, turn your computer on and off, and if it's still a problem screenshot it and log a support request so they can hard refresh the Marketo tree cache for you. It's a pain but it happens somet...
That's what I thought. OK that does complicate theings because if a lead belongs to a Salesforce lead queue it will be in Salesforce but there will no value in the Sales Owner field, it will always be empty, so that rules that out. However, SFDC Type will exist. Check against SFDC type on form fillo...
Yes that would create two person records in Marketo, one with type = parent and one with type= student. In Marketo you could use this value to select which "type" of Contact you wanted to send to. if you made the parent the primary contact on the account, you could select all accounts with a student...
I have a quick question... when you talk about adding to queues above, are you referring to Salesforce lead queues? Or another type of queue you're creating within Marketo?
The lookup relationship between the enrolment and the student is the wrong way around. As Sanford says, the Person comes first. If on the Person account you have a type field (parent or student) you could find the students. The student would then need to have an associated enrolment, like you have f...
I got it to work on dates, but not numbers. Will keep testing. Thanks!
There goes the rest of my day. I'm going to spend the whole day playing with this and seeing how many squillions of other applications it has. I have so many questions. Does it work with timeframes other than years? Does the field you're referencing there in the token need to be a date field or can ...
