Hi team!I found this thread from a couple years back about migrating from MSD to SF: Migrating from Dynamics CRM to Salesforce We're not using Dynamics, but are considering migrating from a home-grown CRM to SF. Our internal CRM is synced with Marketo via API calls and generally only writes to custo...
I'm sure there's a documented answer for this somewhere, so this probably isn't the best answer. But we've tested this a couple times with our CRM integration and it passed our testing.
Sorry, should have clarified! We do a lot of analysis in access, excel and BI so we just use the "contains" function to search for the key words in our pick lists. This saves us a bunch of time. It's great!
We have a "variable comments" field that's used for occasions such as this. It is used only for forms with differing use cases but always in situations where we want leads to provide miscellaneous information that doesn't really apply to anything else in specific.Plus, we usually append any informat...

I believe you can use tokens in the "Send Alert" flow step (triggered campaigns only, I think, but you can always do the request campaign workaround).I wouldn't recommend it. You'll loose all sorts of tracking/reporting info that way. But it would help you to not need the duplicates floating around ...
Sri- Greg's right, I spoke too quickly. We do this with a non-emailable field because we don't email to duplicates for a number of reasons. Might not work out if you want to email to dups in other scenarios. Hope you found a solution!
Also, look into mass deduplication tools (Marketo has one and there's lots of others) and go through this list regularly and clean it out. Clean data is the best.
