The clear use-case for me is to target those who are not yet opt-ed in for email communication. This is a perfect way to reach your audience in another form when not allowed to email them...which requires access to custom fields for GDPR compliance.
For easy visibility on the results of the test, the standard A/B test on date/time in an email blast program is really good. But I agree with the others on everything else!
I had a similar problem last year and this was the solution. I needed to define the text to be linked and output the linked text (not just the link itself) via Velocity.
Agreed! Using person and company tokens, and dynamic content for industry or other segmentation personalization is the way to go.
I think another way to do this would be to:1. Add a hidden field for "double-opt-in" with the true/false value populated from Marketo. You will need to make sure pre-fill is enabled on the field.2. Add a choice step in the Settings of the form to determine where someone is sent upon form completion....
Just curious, but would your logic still work if you said email is "any" with your specific external URL as the link? How many emails sent during your A/B test will include links to that specific website?

This also works well in combination with a Revenue Cycle Model. If you have different stages for your leads (including disqualified or recycled) and allow them to go back through the process....you can simply use the same scoring thresholds or other criteria to change the status back into qualified ...
Does it also work if you simply edit the existing image module? I would imagine you could remove the image token (maybe replace it with a photo in your Design Studio), update the link, and then re-add the image token.
