I've done this as well -- then I have an entire folder in Design Studio for hosted .ics files. super obnoxious, but a fairly easy (although not fast) process.
Surely (hopefully) someone has a test version that was sent around for approvals (possibly?) One thing I like about using gmail at our office is that more email is archived than deleted and I can generally find anything that may have been 'lost' elsewhere... best of luck.
I agree with Andy and we did the same thing (javascripting cookies). I also added hidden fields on my form to capture the original utm as well just to be sure... A lot of good input on this thread already. I definitely think there is benefit to what your reps are saying... but it likely differs from company to company. We, for example, use demographic scoring (0-50) and pass anything 30+ to our reps (with a behavior score of 10+ which is basically one or two...
are your email addresses changing domains as well? If so, you'll need to make sure your DKIM and SPF settings are updated and IPs whitelisted (just like setting up a new marketo instance).
Roles & Permissions don't get that granular. You'd probably have to setup a training workspace and partition only a handful of leads to be accessible to it...
