There is another way to potentially do this - in your smart campaign, identify that company is "ABC Company" and then do Random Sample equals a specific %. Depending on how well you know your data, you could set a % threshold based on the top # of ppl tied to an account - or you could build a multi...
Hi Peter-Another method - although unusual - would be to not connect the systems at all and use an email submission method in which you would kick out of Marketo a standard email containing certain values that would be sent to a SFDC submission email address and parsed upon entry as a new lead. I di...
Hi Nicole-Tags are limited to a single selection - so no multi-pick per attribute. However, as Kristen mentioned, you are really not limited to how many tags you use so you just have to balance how many tags you have, how many you require, and to what granularaity do you build them to be. Is this ...
Hi Nina-If you are looking for a person by person notification, you could technically choose the SFDC setting of marking an activity for each record sent the email once it is sent but this would be limited to a) one notification per day, b) not necessarily "real-time" to the send itself, and c) clu...

If you import them into a program, the program will note which are acquired by that program (which are your not-in database list). You can them delete them out of Marketo if you wanted to (but since you plan to sync them at some point, I would not recommend doing this. However, if you have your pr...
I agree with Harrison - we used a similar technique to essentially have a survey within an email (in this case, which transportation method they were going to use) to gauge responses to an event without truly sending them to a page.
Hi Harrison-Since this is a trigger, why would you put a date on the trigger itself - it should fire automatically upon creation without it?I hear your pain though - know it well!
