Hi, Yes, you can simply just create an email that will be used to send you an alert. Then just build your smart list with anyone completing the action you want, and in your campaign flow, at the end, you can add a step Send Alert, and provide your choices: You will receive an email right away and you can follow up with this lead. Hello, It would be nice to have another option of the types of push available to push a Marketo Smartlist to an ad network. There are currently only two types: - Add Leads to audience - Remove leads from audience It would be nice to have another option such as: - Sync leads to audience so it can reflects the actual current smartlist in Marketo (with all the current filters), and not just add/remove contacts. Hi Phillip, Thanks for your reply... even though I was hoping for a different answer It's unfortunate that it only adds the newer people but does not reflect the actual list that is set in Marketo. I had some specific filters which I tweaked later on, and thought that it would refresh the whole list rather than just add the new contacts. I guess I'll have to find a way to "clean" these lists and reupload them. As for the manually pushing them I will have to set a reminder... it would have been nice to have it automatically. Hello, I'd like to push a Marketo smartlist to an ad network. The setup is done and is working fine, but I had a few questions about how it works/runs after been creatde. First, there are two Push Types: - Add Leads to audience - Remove leads form audience. First, if an audience is already created on the ad Network, when I choose "Add Leads to audience", does it push just the new leads, or does it refresh the whole list to reflect what's in Marketo? Second, if I created a Smart list in Marketo that links to the ad Network, does it automatically refresh it in the chosen Ad Network (Adwords, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) or do I need to push it on a regular basis to have the most up to date list? Hello, We've added a Custom Tab onto the lead data info. However, it would be much easier (as it takes every time some time to load) to directly land onto the tab Lead Info instead of Custom. Is there a way I can either change the position of Custom so this tab comes after Lead Info or indicate somewhere that every time I open a lead, I directly land onto the Lead Info Tab? Hello, It would be great in the calendar to be able to drag and drop an email send in order to change the date instead of having to go into the campaign to change it manually. It's easier once you have the full picture in front of your eyes to define a date that is more suitable if needed.

Hello, If you know how to find this list of leads with the wrong data (either you know the date it was imported, or another clue to specify these members), you can simply update the fiels such as follow: * You might have to create a new temporary field to push some data into it while you update the data, or use a field that is currently not used . In the end, you can also update the New Field Name to New Value NULL to make sure this field is blank again. Hope this helps Emma

Hi Tom, I Do not believe this will work with two triggers, as it is a OR between triggers, and a AND between filters (even if you select ALL filters). In that case, it would be anyone who fills out the form OR answers No who will be unsubscribed.

Hello, Yes it would be what you proposed, but with Fills out form as a trigger (not filled out form) (if you want this to be a dynamic list) And as Dan said, if the leads had previously this field as No as a value, they would also qualify for the change data value. Emma

Hello, If you did some cleanup in the leads, you would see it on your graph when opening Marketing Activities And you will see your new number of total leads when looking at you Database overview This will confirm that you indeed deleted the leads from your database. Hope this helps! Emma

Hi Jenn DiMaria, Indeed, the Created date will show when the lead was created in the system, as opposed to when it really became aware of your website. If you look at your activity log, it usually starts with a New Lead activity type, as a Web form fillout. Here's more information about anonymous leads and activities: Tracking Anonymous Activity and Leads - Marketo Docs - Product Docs Also, you should be aware that the Created date can be updated to the latest (yes, the latest, not the earliest) update. i.e., if you have a duplicate and you merge these two together, Marketo will only keep the most recent activity. You will therefore lose the "true" date of when the lead was really known by the system. I recommend adding a new field that reflects the Created date, so that if you need to merge two leads together, you can decide on which value to keep, the oldest vs. the newest value. Hey Jeremy Sony, I do not believe this is feasible... What you can do though is create a smartlist will all the leads that do have this/these interesting moment(s) in common. Otherwise, you would need to download the activity overview one by one for each of the leads. Emma

Hey Caitlin, Are you sure you're not missing a mandatory field to sync the lead to your Salesforce (i.e. the acquisition date which is synced after you push your lead to Salesforce)? Try to make sure the step "Sync lead to Salesforce" is the last Step in your flow, and prior to this step, add a Wait Time (10-15min) so that all the fields are properly filled out prior to the sync with Salesforce. Hey guys! We will be upgrading our CRM to 2016 and I have some questions on how to make sure the integration with Marketo will remain working properly. How can I make sure the urls in Marketo will stay as they are and will not change? Has anyone done this upgrade? Hey Everyone, I'm not sure you all received this email over the weekend, but this bug has been resolved. Here's the email I received from Support: Dear Emma, As part of our Q4 release, we exposed a bug that was causing specific wait step campaigns to not execute accordingly. The bug has now been fixed and all campaigns are processing normally. During this time, you would have noticed that leads were either paused in a wait step or wait steps were being ignored. Services Affected: Batch or Trigger Campaigns that contain both a wait step with an immediate conditional flow step Resolution: Campaigns without an email flow step have been resumed and will process accordingly. Campaigns with an email flow step have been paused indefinitely. If you would like to resume these campaigns, please reach out to support and we will be glad to assist you. Campaigns with wait steps ignored, all flow steps completed processing. For a list of these campaigns, please reach out to support and we will be glad to provide them to you. So it should all be resolved now! Emma

Hey, I agree with you Dan, a little feedback on where the issue stand would have been appreciated. It's just gone, and there is no feedback. I tried running my campaign again last night, but still nothing, the leads are stuck between Marketo and CRM, and nothing gets synced all the way. I had opened a ticket, and here's the answer I received: Hi Emma, The leads did not sync to MSD due to being stuck in a wait step. This is a known issue that affected some of our customers who had campaigns with wait steps set to execute on the 13th. Our engineers are deploying a data fix today to resolve the issue and resume the flow for the leads who are stuck in the wait step. Has it been deployed already? Not sure, but since the warning is gone, I'm assuming it is, although my leads still cannot be synced to my CRM....

Hi Josh Hill, No, the lead is not synced to CRM Dynamics. For some contacts, they are current clients of ours and already have an account created in our CRM. For these, this should create a new lead under that account. However, nothing was created. For some contacts, they are brand new. They just exist in Marketo and have no history in CRM. By pushing the contact to CRM, this would create a Contact, an Account, and a Lead. Once again, nothing was created. Marketo says the lead was already synced, but it appears to be stuck between CRM and Marketo as I do see it was tried to be sent to CRM (in the Marketo Log Error); however, something stopped the lead to go all the way through... Hey, I've launched a campaign with a flow to sync some leads from Marketo to CRM, however, although for some of them it worked, for most of them I receive the following error in Marketo. Step ID: xxxxx Choice Number: 0 fault: Sync Lead to Microsoft caught exception exceptionMessage: error lead ID xxxxxxx has already been synched Lead ID: xxxxxxx When looking at the Marketo Error Log in CRM, this is the message I receive for not syncing: pre_synctomkto = False, isStartSync=False Not creating transaction log because the entity is not synced No matter what data I erase, de-sync, re-sync, nothing seems to work and these activities are not been populated in CRM. Does anyone know what this issue is about and how I can fix it so that all these leads are correctly sent to CRM? Thanks for your help! Emma
