Hi Patrick, you can create a new local asset within the Event of an email send instead of the sending smart campaign. Then you can set up the A/B test.
Not knowing the names that are slipping through, I'd probably start by saying "not contains" instead of "is not" in case the data is not consistent. You could probably even minimize it to not contains tech or install. Hope that helps!

I believe if you build a thank you page, then set the follow up to that page (in the form settings), that should work.I can't guarantee that the custom HTML if the user is known will work outside of Marketo, this might be like form prefill which only works on Marketo pages.
