Missing form field entry

We have a form for Spain where we ask users to select their region. One region even though it's in the list, is then not showing as an option for customers to choose.  The region is Vizcaya.

Has anyone come across something like this before?

By "in the list" you mean the list of values in your select type field in your form editor?

Is the form approved? Is the form embedded (as that might take 10 minutes to be seen on the live page)? Is the form you're looking at in the editor really the one that you see live (might be worth checking the form IDs)?

Are you using visibility rules? I've seen issues like this before when a value was missing from the picklist values set in the visibility rules after a person had selected their country.

@emilyjwalters, extending from @MERGE_MaudeB's excellent point; If you're using visibility rules, the region will need to be in the main list/superset of regions AND in the subset controlled by the visibility rule.

@emilyjwalters, apart from ensuring form updates are approved. I'd also make sure that the landing page that this form is also approved - updating the form needs to be reapproving the landing page to reflect the changes (if the form is added via the form element and not the embed JS). Moreover, do you have any visibility rules on that field that might be hiding this/showing the rest of the values? Lastly, if this field is mapped with a Salesforce picklist field, then you'd have to manually add any new values (added in Salesforce) to the existing forms where this field is being used as the Select field once those new values sync over to Marketo.

this is somewhat complicated by the fact there is no 'Spain', but only 'España'

I edited the HTML and slotted Spain into one of the options, but nothing came up for state when I selected it.

Is this 100% the correct form?

The form used on that page doesn’t have Visibility Rules for country/region.

So something’s out of whack with your testing — you’re using an old form/haven’t approved the form/etc.
