- The New Marketo Engage Email Designer is Pretty Cool: By now, you may have heard that the new Email Designer is out, and it's a game-changer. - New Authoring Experience: Taking Asset Design and Editing to the Next Level: In early February, Adobe launched the new Email Designer in Marketo, offering a fresh, intuitive UI that brings impressive features like reusable fragments, flexible content locking, and easy template creation without much HTML knowledge. Users with access to the new Email Designer can create and edit emails and templates, using a drag-and-drop interface and integrating features like tokens and links with improved management. However, there are some current limitations, such as the inability to use the new emails in Default, Event, or Engagement programs, as well as the lack of support for dynamic content and velocity scripts. Fortunately, these issues will be addressed in upcoming releases later this year! Read about these upcoming features and other planned enhancements in this blog by Champion Katja K.
- You’re probably overusing “&” in links: Here’s a quick tip - if your URL’s query params start with utm_, you don’t need to use &—just go with the simple &! While using & isn’t harmful, it can make your links trickier to read and build. For non-utm_ params, though, stick with & to avoid confusion. Curious why? Dive into Sanford W.'s brief how-to into when & is really necessary and how it all works!
