Google Analytics also helps me. I use it along side the reports that I look at in Marketo.
I do exactly what Mark mentioned above. It works for me.
You can add a period cost on the program set up. I usually add a monthly cost to the google Adwords of our campaigns, and if your program is synced to SFDC, it will show up there.

I am echoing what Mattew said above. That is the same experience that we're having with CVENT. Our event director is switching to another vendor, but is doing his research first. @Matthew T, how does WordPress come to play?
Also make sure your landing page template is approved. Follow Adam's guideline above because that's how I started out and it made my life easier. Make it simple, get it to work, then make it cooler.
