Yes, the sync filter! Make sure your SFDC admin takes into consideration new records and existing records that could newly qualify for the sync - so they can build a flow step that accommodates both cases. And last but not least, build an SOP for what should happen when a record no longer qualifies ...
Hi Malcolm Price - I don't have any presentations of our own that I could share, but check out this Marketo guide: 4 Steps to Developing a Winning Lead Scoring ModelIt's at a high enough level for Sales to understand the importance of scoring, and it has quite a few graphics you could lean on.
Great idea, Adam Kery! There are actually a couple Ideas submitted for this topic that you should vote for
Great insights above. We worked with Marketo, but it was mainly an IT lift for us working with our SFDC admins. Something to think about if you haven't already is the read/write permissions now and in the future. We have a conservative viewpoint on field read/writing between the systems since our CR...
Ah, yes. We don't hide a ton of fields for this reason, but have relied on it to help solve some SFDC field creation issues - and generally like it as an option just in case!

You could potentially add a first smart campaign that listens...
Hi Lakshmipriya Raut - I wouldn't recommend re-purposing fields unless you're asking for the same data each time around (for example "emergency contact" or "dietary preferences"). We've ended up creating single-use case fields because we'll have questions specific to an event that don't apply to oth...
We still use a tokenized template to make the email modifications faster, but have to schedule the campaign manually when we're ready to send the blog update email, and are still having to populate the blog post info into Marketo (just via tokens) - all around it's just a massive time-suck. Agreed w...
We're managing blog sign-ups via an embedded Marketo form on our Wordpress blog, but still haven't found the right solution for sending automated post notifications. We first tried setting a batch campaign to run every week at a specific time, but found that we couldn't always hit the same deadline ...
