It's possible I typed it wrong, but when I visited this page:http://www.caci.co.uk/sites/default/files/resources/SimonChungStephenDerbyshire_Designing_An_Integrated_Customer_Experie…I get a 404, which could be why it's reading as a webpage visit.
Are you previewing the email in your browser or sending an email test of the text version (do you have a screen shot of how you're viewing it)?
You might want to create a Smart List or an Interesting Moment that says, "Clicked Link in Email, Email Is Any, Link Contains .pdf". Marketo doesn't track PDF views, only clicks to PDFs, so creating a trigger with an IM or a Smart List could help give you a more comprehensive view of who's clicking ...

You could trigger an Interesting Moment when certain links are clicked, which shows up in MSI.For example, "If the link clicked in this email contains INFORMATION.PDF, then create an IM that says Lead Viewed Corporate Information Brochure."If you're not using MSI, you could have them added to an SFD...
Haha, or don't change a thing and keep it interesting
How does deleting leads affect ROI/reporting capabilities? Just because you're not communicating with a lead via email doesn't mean that the lead isn't engaging with materials on your website or downloading your assets. I'm curious to know how people deal with that side of reporting if they delete l...
