Thanks for confirming Jeff. I will need this to trigger in both instances (if empty / if existing value).
Does the "Data Value Changes" trigger work on fields where there was no previous value (empty/null)? I thought I read somewhere that there has to be a prior value for this to trigger. And if so, how do we trigger off of those instances where a previous value was empty?
I know that Tokens cannot be used within Smart Lists of Smart Campaigns. But it would be useful to know where Tokens can be used in Flow steps of Smart Campaigns. I've reached out to some folks at Marketo and so far no one can provide an answer to this.

There's no form involed - it's just Marketo triggering based on the value in CRM, which then executed a series of flow steps. But since this values in CRM are Y/N, the trigger isn't executing.
We have a custom CRM (MS Dynamics) field that is synced to Marketo. In Marketo, we are triggering based off of this value - when the field is checked. In CRM, it's a YES/NO value. But when setting up my trigger in Marketo, I only see TRUE/FALSE. And because of this, the trigger isn't triggering....
That's pretty concerning since many of our success steps involve a "clicks link" trigger (both from an email perspective as well as downloading content from our site). What is Marketo's response to this?
Wouldn't any email tracking be considered "personal data" since we're able to track "who" opens/clicks? It's not anonymous.
Great idea Jason - thanks! If you could, please reply back what Marketo Support says as to why some of these leads aren't being updated properly.
