Do you have something in the gray box (that we can't see) that could be making the box wider than it's intended to be and forcing it to appear after/below the table cell on the left? A URL or long email address can often cause this.
I don't believe tokens have any format applied to them. They consist of raw data. When we use them within the content of our emails and landing pages, they take on the format of the rest of the content.
I do know that not all tracking URLs are the shortened variety. For example, when including a token that contained a URL in an email, the tracking link was much longer than our typical tracking links.
Christine - using option #1, Marketo will cookie you as the lead. You should always try to avoid submitting a form on behalf of another user. We always manually upload these types of leads manually to the program and have a trigger campaign that sends out the email confirmation.
