Thank you, Sanford. Actually, this form does not have "know visitor custom HTML" but it's an embedded form, so the web team must have done something on their end to hide the form from known visitors, it's not done in Marketo. I'll sync up with them when they are back in the office. Thank you!Milena
>> That’s only because you have Known Visitor HTML (= KV HTML = “If Known Visitor, Show Custom HTML) turned on in Form Editor : Sorry, I don't see it in my Marketo form editor. Where would it be? I do see the progressive profiling block - are you saying I should not use it and instead "put the equiv...
Hi Sanford, thank you for the prompt response. Unfortunately, since that person will be cookied, no form will be displayed for them. Is there a way to read the cookie and display a form if certain fields are missing? Sorry if this is a stupid question or if it does not have to do with Marketo but ra...
Hi all, I am looking for best practices: we have a simple form for blog subscription, which is standard: you can enter only your email address to subscribe for blog posts. I was hoping to get the rest of the necessary information (name, company, country, etc.) when the person submits a longer form f...
Hi Sanford, thank you so much for the prompt response! Do you know if the recommended solution might have any ramifications to SEM/SEO? Our web team does not want the campaign name in the URL. I would be fine if the program name is visible somewhere in the code; if needed, I could do "inspect code" ...
Our web team is switching to hosting all assets in WordPress now. I am using the same Marketo form and route data into the right Marketo program by the combination of that form fill trigger and the referrer URL, which is always unique. I don't want to create endless copies of the same form for each ...
Hi community, I am wondering if anyone else experiences this and has a suggestion on how to deal with it: I am constantly being logged out from Marketo. I tried removing all cookies and logging out from Marketo before logging back in, I tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari), my browsers...
Can't agree more! You can't make new changes without understanding the justification for what has been done before. Unfortunately, many people are making changes in our instance without logging anything, our change log is desperately out of date. Where do you keep that spreadsheet, somewhere in Sha...
I also have this question (how to separate "real" clicks by people from automated ones), and I appreciate your response. I just don't understand: if a bot clicks on that link, wouldn't that activity appear with all the same utm parameters in GA?
That's helpful, thanks.
