Hey Geoff,If you don't want to mess around with HTML and CSS anymore, check out www.knak.io.Will give you all the code for responsive templates that has been tested in Litmus, and you can just worry about editing it in the Marketo WYSIWYG editor.

I will say though, Gmail is a pain for responsive design as they do not support media queries, which is how emails are coded to suit different screen sizes. There are some workarounds, but it would be nice if gmail finally got with the times and supported this functionality.
