Campaign Queue

Hi All, Is it possible to remove campaigns from the campaign queue? For context, I have turned off a few active triggered campaigns because I thought it would remove it from the queue, but it despite it being off, it has not lost its spot in line. Any help appreciated. Thanks,Chris
