When setting up an SMTP server a Master Admin will have the ability to Make this deliverability channel available to all my team members. With the same deliverability method you will only need to punch in your SMTP credentials, and all users will be ready to start sending emails with your own SMTP server. Before checking this box you will want to check with your SMTP provider to see if the same credentials can be used for multiple users. Services like Gmail SMTP and Outlook SMTP do not allow you to establish multiple connections with the same credentials. If you would like to get your users set up with either of these you will want to have each user input their SMTP settings and login credentials on the SMTP configure page. We track email opens by placing an invisible image inside the emails you send. If someone responded to your email but ToutApp is not saying it was viewed, then they have not enabled images within their email client . Some tips for getting better tracking stats on your emails: Include an image in your emails, like a logo, so that your recipient is encouraged to enable images to see your message. Include a link as a call to action in your message
Unfortunately at this time we don't have the ability to Add Email to Salesforce from an email in your inbox. However, if you set up your Salesforce integration , every time you Tout an email we will automatically log it to Salesforce.
You can find tasks in your Command Center in toutapp.com. If you don't see the tasks you are looking for, click the Calendar buttons in the open/overdue sections to change the date range to display your tasks. Additionally, you can find the tasks in your Live Feed and for Gmail they will show up in the upper right corner of your inbox.

You may have noticed that your links are getting changed to go.toutapp.com. This is Tout rerouting your links so that clicks can be tracked. If you would like to personalize what shows up when Tout reroutes your link you can set up custom domain link tracking.
ToutApp Enterprise subscribers have access to some great dashboards. Once you have installed the ToutApp package for Salesforce, from the AppExchange you will see these dashboards appear. If you are not seeing the correct information populate on the dashboard you will want to make sure that you are logging information to the Tout custom fields. The fields can be installed in the Activity History section and on the Task object in Salesforce. The fields include things such as Tout_Viewed, Tout_Clicked, Tout_Replied, Tout_Templates, etc...
Yes, we do support HTML: Copy the source code from your emails in MailChimp (or whatever tool you use to create emails in HTML) Hit the source button in your template editor Paste the source code there Hit save If you are seeing the error "Error - to remove the style/java/html tags" this means you have some styling that we do not support. You should search the Source code for the word style and delete everything in the source code from <style> through </style>
In order for Tasks to Sync we have to have a Salesforce ID for that contact saved in toutapp.com. Salesforce IDs are added to toutapp.com through Push to Tout . Make sure you have Task Sync checked in your Salesforce Settings . Additionally, deleting a task in Salesforce or skipping the task will not update the tasks properly in both places.
When you schedule an email in gmail it is supposed to save your email in the drafts folder until it sends. Nothing has gone wrong, but due to how we integrate with gmail this is a restriction of the scheduled emails that they have to stay in the drafts folder. After it hits the scheduled time, they will move from drafts to Sent. You can see the email has been scheduled within toutapp.com and it should also have the label Tout Scheduled Email. Alternatively you can schedule from toutapp.com and they won't show up in your drafts in gmail.
If there are any issues with your My Email to Salesforce settings or validity of the email then the email might not log using your BCC address. We recommend switching your settings to log via API. Using the API you get more control over the deliverability, and we will never lose an email based on your settings.
You will want to make sure that your emails meet the following requirements so that your prospect's replies are tracked. Connection with your email server. You can set up with Gmail or Outlook. Subject Lines must match, any changes to the subject will prevent it from being picked up as a reply They have to reply from the email address you sent the email to, or from a permutation of their first/last name and domain. I click on my link and it says, "Where am I? You ended up here because you probably clicked on a link in an email. Unfortunately, ToutApp, the analytics service used for emails wasn't able to figure out where to direct you". There may be something wrong with how your link was formatted. If your link is embedded in text, make sure that you have included the full URL. If you are still having problems after checking the formatting of your link, reach out to our support team for more help. In your ticket submission, include; the link that you wanted the recipient to be directed to along with the tracking URL. The tracking URL will be the address you are directed to when clicking on the link.
We give you the option to configure custom domain tracking for your links, so that when you hover over a link, it will read “go.yourcompany.com” instead of “go.toutapp.com”. To set this up, you will need your IT administrator to follow the steps listed in the ToutApp settings page . Once you have this set up, we will white label any link you have in your email to appear as “go.yourcompany.com”.
