@Steven_Vanderb3 how will the Experience Cloud shell impact Marketo - will that replace the left-hand tree with the Marketo "sections" (Marketing Activities, Database, etc.)?
Hi Beth!
The experience will still look much like it is today. When we made the designs for the Global Navigation bar in the Modern UX we planned ahead for what the experience of Unified Shell would look like. You will continue to access the different app areas of Marketo Engage (Marketing Activities, Database, Design Studio, etc) from the top bar of the app. We will move Marketo Engage notifications, history, Task Tray, and Global Search from the top bar to a rail on the left hand side (to the left of the tree and the tree wont be going anywhere).
@Steph_Simmons if we already have AIM with Marketo Measure how does this affect our migration with Marketo Engage?
Once Marketo users have been migrated to Adobe IDs, those users will be able to log into both Marketo Measure and Marketo Engage with the same Adobe ID, as well as other Adobe Experience Cloud products. Also, both the Marketo Measure and Marketo Engage user management experience will unified, in Adobe Admin Console.
@David_Everly - are there specific capabilities available with Privacy Management/Privacy Service in addition to facilitating access and delete requests or is that the sole focus?
The sole focus is access and delete requests to satisfy privacy management regulations described here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/core-marketo-concepts/miscellaneo...
Is Marketo HIPAA compliant?
Adobe Privacy Service integration pertains to privacy service regulations described here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/core-marketo-concepts/miscellaneo...
HIPPA is a different conversation, please see health care related information here:
https://business.adobe.com/products/marketo/healthcare.html
Marketo is HIPAA ready, yes.
https://business.adobe.com/products/marketo/healthcare.html
HIPAA Ready
Adobe Marketo Engage provides the tools and protections to ensure that our Healthcare customers can securely use data that falls under HIPAA in their marketing activities.
@David_Everly is there any difference in the features/functionality of Privacy Service for Marketo users who have RT-CDP/AAM vs those that just have Marketo w/ Identity Mgmt?
No, there is no difference, and that is by design. The driving force behind integrating the Adobe family of products with Adobe Privacy Service is to provide a consistent "one stop shop" for all privacy requests. For example, if you have subscriptions to Marketo, RT-CDP, and AAM, and want to submit a privacy request, you go to the Adobe Privacy Service UI "Request Builder". There you can select the checkbox for each individual product, and then click "Create", and done. See "Create a new privacy request" section here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/privacy/ui/user-guide.html
Hey @Jon_Chen which person is the PM for which product (so we know who to tag)?
@Steph_Simmons - Adobe Identity
@Steven_Vanderb3 - Experience Cloud Shell
@David_Everly - Privacy Service
Is there a way to roll this (the Adobe Identity Management) out to an existing subset of admins first to ensure things work before rolling out the rest of the org? Or is this an all at once type of deal? We have run into issues with some past migrations and trying to avoid that 🙂 Thanks!
When we migrate Marketo customers to Adobe IDs, driven by the Adobe Identity Management System, a migration console will be available for some (based on number of users in a subscription) customer admins. Using the migration console, onboarding sets/subsets of users to Adobe ID is possible.
@Steph_Simmons thanks! So we would have to migrate our entire set of users in Marketo all at one time then? No way to do this in "batches"?
For customers who have access to the user migration console, user migration can be done in batches.
@Steph_Simmons Do customers with an existing SSO set up for Marketo need to make changes on the Azure end to migrate to Adobe Identity before they can switch over?
When the migration for Marketo customers to Adobe Identity begins, customers who use SSO will need to set up SSO in Adobe Admin Console prior to user migration.
You can learn more about how to do that here: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/set-up-identity.html
