I created a field in Marketo that we've been using, but now I realize this field would be handy to have in Salesforce as well.
What is the best way to get this field, which is currently only in Marketo, synced to Salesforce without losing any data?
Open a Support case and they can stitch them up for you after the fact.
Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this option make the UI weird where like Marketo still has two fields listed or something? Or am I misremembering?
Tl;dr: As sanford said best way would be to involve the support guys to accomplish this in order to avoid any data loses.
