Also is this app viable if marketers are creating webinars? It seems ideal to be able to do it within the Marketo platform directly.

Yes Interactive Webinars is THE tool for Marketeers and Marketing Operations. This works from inside Marketo only. 

Just try creating an event program and you will see an option for Interactive Webinars.

But before that ask your admin to add you as a user of Interactive Webinars

@TarunA is there any semi-live compatibility similar to ON24?  If not any plan or workaround recommended?

Yes @atrujillo you can upload your previous recorded webinar as a video in Interactive Webinar - webinar setup.

But you would need someone to come and kickstart the webinar and play the video. Then your background team can just focus on answering Questions that your audience asks for
