Hi, I haven't come across this kind of capability in Marketo, but you could take the data of all the people who filled out the form outside of Marketo into Excel and use that to create a list of people whose company names = first name etc. Upload the static list to Marketo and use that as needed. Hopefully you will sort out the issue at the source in the meantime.

Agreed, if you switch to old experience the 'quick find' at the bottom still acts as expected, but it would be good if the new experience would carry over the 'contains' functionality. Have you put this in the Ideas maybe?

Agreed! The only workaround currently is using a smart list asset, contain the advanced logic in that, and then reference that smart list in an 'member of smart list' choice step.

Hi Michael, I've run into the problem before too. My workaround was to find a field in the instance that was pretty much the same for everyone, or at least everyone involved in the report. For example, if the report is targeting only CFOs anyway, I would 'Group by' Job Title and that way, the 'Group by' is only taking up one row (as they're all CFOs), allowing simpler usage of the custom columns. Annoyingly you then just have to ignore the 'Group by' as it's not adding anything additional to the report, but at least it's not making it more complicated! In short, reduce the 'Group by' to one row by cleverly targeting a field that is uniform across the records in the database. I'm also interested in any other solutions.

Hi Thorsten, The guided landing page variables work from top-down, in order they are declared in the HTML. So, you would collect like-variables together in the template editor and put the highest priority ones at the top. Collecting them by type is normally best practice (all text together, all images together etc.) but you can also do it by which module they're associated to. In terms of organisation for the user, you could always set up fake variables that are purely there to describe the collection of variables underneath them. For example, have a variable that says 'underneath is all to do with the header' etc. Otherwise, there's no other nifty way I can think of I'm afraid! Hope that helps.

Hi, I'll need more information to answer properly as your description is a bit confusing, what are you expecting in the smart list as filters and what in the flow? Did you want this to run once, or every time someone meets these criteria? Assuming it's the latter, try the 'data value changes' trigger and select your field and 'new value' as a constraint. Let me know if that doesn't help.

Hi there, So in short, I don't think so, not unless you have setup something behind the scenes already. What you could do is: - Create a custom field tracking last email send and add that in the smart list, or - Create program member custom fields and do something similar to the above, or - Use Revenue Cycle Explorer, which is like a more advanced extra feature to Marketo for reporting like you're trying to do in this smartlist, or - Use a complicated people performance report with smart lists as custom columns. Hi Yash, Unsure without specifics of what you're trying to accomplish. But could you not: 1. Set up a separate 'sub' campaign that is set to a 7days cadence and pulls from the said list, as well as the other campaign sending them daily? 2. Use an engagement program 3. Use filter 'Was sent email 7 days ago' and use the constraint to choose the x time ago? You can pincer the time with 'not was sent email 6 days ago to specify for your last point on the last sentence, as this will do the job potentially. But this can be a bit ropey.

Hi, From what it sounds like, you have 1 segmentation with 79 segments, of which you want to make 2 unique and the remaining default. If you create the default snippet first, then all 79 segments will automatically be assigned this default when you make the snippet dynamic. You then create your 2 unique snippets on the 2 segments you want to target. So, you're effectively only targeting the 2 segments and leaving the remaining as default. You have to use all 79 segments in the 1 segmentation, you just leave them as automatically defined as default.

Hi, Yes, the batch is for a historical back-update of the person score whilst trigger will deal with any new persons scores. Once the batch has run it will be made obsolete in needing to be run again due to the constant progress of the trigger.

I have setup the event cap on Marketo Sky. However, if the event cap is reached and then someone's program status changes (to not registered because they want to unregister etc.), the event cap does not take this into account and anyone who then tries to register is put on the waitlist - even though the event cap hasn't been met. Has anyone else experienced this and is there a way to update the event cap count if someone can no longer attend?

The two campaigns in one program are unlikely the issue, but more so the webservice api - a change in title for this discussion thread might help your response rate here? Also, providing screenshots/text of the smart filters used and the webservice in question may provide clarity for someone to answer this.

Smart list subscriptions have a plethora of use-cases that could be extremely handy. However, in my experience being confined to the ~3am send daily, weekly etc. only, means that some don't want to use it. Wouldn't adding extra functionality to be able to change this time make it even more versatile? Or even use it as a flow step to send the report on the back of a trigger? Or, if there's X amount of leads added to it, then the smart list gets sent? All this could be practicable via APIs, but I'm sure equally possible with added Marketo features.

Could likely be the form not pushing the data back to the Database, have you checked the data is correct in the Database for a lead in this instance you described?

Chris is right, it's also worth checking in Marketo in the Data Management in Admin, that the CRM Field Map isn't empty for the expected fields. If they are empty, it's likely a visibility issue that SFDC needs to grant access to on the Marketo user.
