  • Re: using the Marketing Calendar for non-marketo marketing events (sal...

Hi Jay,Caryl has the right idea. What I usually recommend to our users is to create one Program that can house all of those standalone events. You don't have to have one Program for each event, just put them all together in one place.John

  • Re: Revenue Cycle Analytics Series

Hi Rachel,Is this a class you're taking with Marketo? If so, it should show up here. http://learnadmin.marketo.com/LearnerPage.aspxYou can get to the university under the Products & Support Tab at the top of the Community, and you can email education@marketo.com with any questions you might have.Jo...

  • solved badge Re: Planning Batch campaign or email program with Drag & Drop

That's right. The system doesn't currently allow drag and drop from the tree to the calendar. This is would make a good post in the ideas section though. I would definitely vote for it!John

  • solved badge Re: Drip Campaign vs. Basic Email Program

Absolutely! The Nurture Program was designed for just that purpose. You can enter all of your emails into a stream, and leads that are added to that stream will get one email per week starting with the first. This setup allows you to setup the emails/program one time, and then re-use it over and ov...

  • solved badge Re: Tracking Webinar Registrants that a Partner has Driven

If the email isn't sent through Marketo then it wouldn't be tracked, but that doesn't matter so much because the form doesn't care where the lead came from, only the url they used to get there. As long as the parameter is included in the link that goes out with the email, then the form should pick ...

I think you were on the right track with the url parameter. What filters did you use in your smart list? Also, you could have a hidden field on your form that would capture the url parameter if it was there. That would tag leads too, and if the parameter was not there then the field would just rema...

  • Re: Where do leads captured via Wistia video go in Marketo?

Hi James,I'll need to do some more research on this, but it's most likely Wistia is creating the leads in your database via an api call. This wouldn't necessarily put them in any specific list in Marketo, but you could have a smart list set up to capture leads with a source of "web server api", and...

Hi Todd,I actually misspoke. I've done some more research, and you can add the Sales Insight window to the Opportunity and Account layout. This will have a little more limited view of the data, and it will only show the information for contacts associated with whatever Opportunity or Account you'r...
