This would depend on your sync setup. But if you sync based on the email address, this would just create a new lead and it would sit in Marketo.

W3 schools has great tutorials. I know it seems daunting but I'd teach myself the basics.Then sometimes when I'm really thrown for a loop, it's just trial/error. I'd recommend testing on a live html editor, not in Marketo.
I agree with Josh. In the past, to demonstrate lead routing and assignments, I've just used Gliffy. It is a bummer you have to keep it updated but it's also a good exercise just to make sure everything is set up correctly.
You'd use the Fills out Form trigger and add whatever criteria you want. Then the flow would be the score change.
