Hi Andrew, when you click on your email program the default view should be "Dashboard" and it should show you how many emails were sent, the open rate, and a summary of email stats.
I agree that this is the best option, just keep in mind that if someone owns more than 1 person in the campaign, they will get an alert for every single person they own.
