That's great, Val! I'm excited to give that one a try.
Val, would you be kind enough to expand on that idea? We encounter huge latency problems in our instance, and the idea of 'dummy alerts' as a work around is intriguing. In that use case are you just sending an alert as a first step?
Hi Rachel,A really good way to do this is a Smart Campaign published to Marketo Sales Insight, adding targeted contacts to a control list in Marketo, with another smart campaign triggering when a lead is added/removed from the control list. That smart campaign would flow the action of removing them ...
If the lead is added to a list, you can set up a smart campaign to listen for that activity (trigger) and send the email (flow). You'd then modify the Schedule of that smart campaign to allow the lead through the flow Once.
Thanks Damon, but I'm not talking about Program statuses; because you're right on the money with an exclusionary status at the program level. What I'm trying to uncover is whether or not it's possible to tie the activity of sending an individual email to any lead outside of sending the email itself—...

I would try coding the color of the fonts at the landing page level with a HTML script block. It's a pretty clean way to control the look of a single form on a single page (or with tokens, single forms on multiple pages).
In this case, we have a priori knowledge that there should be lead data syncing over to Marketo from an external, non-Salesforce source. The lack of activity happening in our Marketo instance (specific to this 'master campaign' program described above) would then indicate a problem with that sync, an...
Hey Justin,Thanks for the reply. We're looking to monitor the campaign itself, since for us it's a primary mover and indicates that we're receiving data from an external source—in this case, lead creation sync.So to clarify even more, before this main campaign is fired, there's no lead record data i...
