Hi Michael,There is no licence cost and I have seen Marketo not charging the second instance while the first one is still in use.But that might be a huge project, as you will have to migrate all the templates, programs and data. You will loose all activity logs...-Greg
Hi Chris,the additional, forced sync, is not necessary.I would look into the right model or some validation rules that prevent the update to the SFDC record.Start with an attempt to update another field in Marketo on these records and check these other fields do sync. -Greg

This is not possible directly. But indirectly it might happen:If you have converted a lead into an account and contact directly in SFDC or using the Marketo convert flow stepIf you have some APEX triggers or business processes that create accounts from a lead for instance.-Greg
