I was just referring to what I've seen happen with gmail. We tested using the person's actual name and email address vs. their name and a marketing email address, and we found that when it was not their name and their email address it would sometimes go to spam for gmail.
Which Marketo dashboard numbers are you comparing it to and in what time frame are you pulling the data from? Keep in mind Marketo has a 90-day data retention period for some activity. You can see the specifics of their data retention policy here.
