Seconded. Also note that extensions like Ghostery sometimes prevent activities from getting added to the Activity Log by blocking javascripts. Turn those off before troubleshooting the issue.

Not quite, I can see them in the list of users. I can't see the users deleted more recently though.

I just played around with it and curiously enough, I can see some users that were deleted back in June, but can't see the users that were deleted earlier this month. Weird.

I would recommend doing it based on cookie value, not URL parameters, and having some javascript written to create cookies based on the URL parameters and populate the hidden fields. Optimizing the Marketo-SFDC sync will have a major impact on a lot of programs within MA. Because the sync can be so slow at times, wrong emails can go out to leads/contacts because their record in Marketo doesn't reflect the changes in SFDC.
