Hi Jay Jiang‌ I've actually just sent my CSM an email about the Revenue Explorer license. MKTO support also mentioned the reports that it can produce may answer my question. I was hoping there could be another option that doesn't require an additional license. Seems there are with a bit of effort. Does the reports Revenue Explorer produce allow you to select a time period, including dates in the past? I'm guessing it does but just to double check. Cheers

Thanks Josh Pickles‌ This is most helpful! I'm liking your 2nd & 3rd options. Though just confirming, both options won't allow me to see historical data of past eDMs sent. Is that correct? It would only be for future emails sent once the process has been set up? Cheers

Hi Does anyone know of a way to see how many emails each person in Marketo is receiving? I know I can look at a person's activity log but that would take a very long time to do that individually for every person. I'd like to see a report that shows every person within a filtered segment (or the entire database) & how many emails they receive in any given time period eg per week. Is that possible? Cheers

Hi Karan Hari Thanks for your reply. Yes we have a preference centre. I wouldn't say it's a sophisticated one but we do have one - Marketing, Editorial & Third Party. It's on the to-do list to improve the preference centre. And we are currently working with a Marketo strategist to help us align our communications to be more relevant. We are definitely on the right path to a better user experience from an email point of view. But am curious to know at what point does someone feel we've over stepped the communication boundary so to speak. Cheers

Hi Is there any research around at what point or after how many emails does someone unsubscribe? We send a lot of emails so trying to understand behaviour in order to optimise our communication cadence & how often we send emails. Basically how much is too much before someone unsubscribes? Many thanks in advance.

The cookie is dropped as soon as someone interacts with you. Be that via email, any form fill, web visit (providing you have munchkin on your site) etc. If they haven't cleared their cookies or viewing in private mode, the form should pre-populate. As Gursimran said, try testing in another browser.

Thanks Sanford. Yes you're right, Program Status Progression would be ideal. Still working through internal change management with MKTO ATM, but we'll get there & utilise program progression to it's full potential. I'm hoping sooner than later. Thanks again

Hi How do I remove people from a simple default program for an event who have filled in a cancellation form for that event? I need to remove them from the program as they no longer want to attend. Form Assets: Form 1 - Register for the event Form 2 - Cancel your event registration. Form 1 - has a smart list that is automatically sent to the event manager via a report subscription advising her of everyone that has registered. How do I remove people from Form 1's smart list so the event manager is only sent current registered people for the event via her report subscription? I'm guessing via a smart campaign??? If so what filters & flow step should I use as there isn't one to "remove people from a smart list". Thanks in advance

Hi Dan I use a similar filter in all email communications eg Marketing Optin. I have that optin checkbox in the form in question mapped to that boolean Marketing Optin field. I'll look into a workflow as you mentioned that complies with our spam act here in Australia. Marie Ligier 's a sounds promising. I'd like to use a similar process for gated content on our website where an option to subscribe is available. If left unchecked & that person is already subscribed, I don't want to unsubscribe as that may not be their intention. Thanks again for taking the time.

Great, thanks, that's what I was after. We have a VERY broad spectrum of customers to consider. Management know them better than you & I, I trust their questioning. This form is not open to everyone, only a small subset & it makes sense for the journey that has been created for them that I haven't explained. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated.

I hear what you're saying but I need to give management an explanation around the question, "what if" What if, the form says 'Subscribe to our marketing' tick this box & that person thinks to themselves, "well I'm already subscribed & want to remain subscribed so I don't need to check that box so I'll uncheck it, but I want to continue to receive the emails from your company". Because they have unchecked that box for reasons we may not understand, they have then become unintentionally unsubscribed. Is this out of the box functionality of MKTO to automatically unsubscribe people if the box is left unchecked to subscribe? I need to know the answer so we can map our journey's accordingly & I can provide management with an answer to their "what if" question.

Maybe look at it like this. A person is subscribed in my database. If I present that person with a form that has a checkbox on it to "Subscribe" to marketing, yet they do not check that check box, the form is submitted & they are automatically unsubscribed. I don't want them to be unsubscribed as they have not elected to unsubscribe. The check box is ONLY to subscribe. How can I make MKTO not automatically unsubscribe them if they do not check that checkbox. Maybe I'm not explaining myself very well but does that make sense?

Hi Sanford Whiteman Sorry my bad not providing a URL. I'm new. I've added it above & can be found here - http://pages.supercars.com/gc-sms-non-mktg-optin.html I have added a check box to the form, not a radio button therefore it is optional & people can quite easily untick to unsubscribe. Furthermore, these are people that attended one of our events & have voluntarily provided us their email address as they wish to receive an event schedule for next year. While this could be considered Inferred Consent, I don't want to assume hence providing them the opportunity to not subscribe by unticking the box. However I've noticed a lot of these people are already subscribed to our marketing. If they choose not to tick the box & go directly to the download, I don't want to unsubscribe them. They may have left the tick box unchecked as they know they are already subscribed so no need to check it again.

Hi I have a checkbox in a form to subsribe to our marketing. In the marketing optin field there are either Yes or No values. If that field on the form is left empty a No value is either replacing the Yes (they are already opted in) or auto populating a No value. The latter is OK, but if that check box is left blank I don't want the Yes (they are opted in) to be overwritten with the No value. How do I get around this?
