We use Asana for the email calendar, and use tags to differentiate from other marketing activities. The tags show emails, events, blog posts in different colors. Tags for country, business unit/product, email and event, other tags as well.
I agree, at least 2 eyes on every email, also testing with Litmus is important. Another critical part is checking how many leads qualify for the email send and if that is consistent with prior sends etc. Darrell
Agree with Sanford, we had a "Secondary Account Owner" field as well as a "Secondary Account Owner Email Address" and used that as a token for sender email address and reply to address.
