Whatever UTM values are contained in the URL are carried through from page to page during the entire session (and available to populate the hidden form fields). After the session, the values are no longer available.
Do the values show up when you open Developer Tools under session storage?:
I wish "block field updates" were the solution, but it's not. Now if there was a way to block field updates just on CONTACT records, then that would be ideal. But when you enable this, this prevent changing the company name for all scenarios (contacts, leads and Marketo person records).
We uncovered this issue a couple of years ago. Thought it was just on the MS Dynamics side: nation.marketo.com/thread/43343-accounts-tip-company-name-mismatch
Hi Jacqueline - try disabling the sync and then refreshing the schema. That should then force the new field into Marketo.
Normally, you would include activity into a field via trigger tokens. But unfortunately, they don‘t support custom activities. Vote here:
I'm also trying to fight off members of my leadership team that claim Marketo is still primarily an email platform when it comes to automating relevant nurtures (obviously we use Marketo for all of our channels) - it's the automated Engagement Program capability where people are having their doubts....
Of course. I knew I should have build this out using an actual flow. The "choices" act as mini smart lists - and as we all know, you can't use tokens in smart lists. Good catch, Sandy.
I’m not Josh, so take this for what it’s worth. Field A is essentially a “history” field. So all you need is a conditional CDV flow step that says:if Field A not contains {{Field B}}Field A value = {{Field A}}, {{Field B}}elsedo nothing.
