Hi Ande, did you ever pull the trigger on SnapApp? If so, any insights of your own as to the benefits or any challenges in implementation/ongoing execution?
I have the same challenge. We have a module that's a simple horizontal rule type element, although it's achieved through a 1px border element with margins.Module itself works great but the auto thumbnail is the entire template which makes the module list long/confusing and makes the element itself ha...
Are you sure these sfdc records are owned by a sfdc USER? If the record belongs to a QUEUE, the 'Sales Owner' name and email fields will be blank in Marketo. This makes sense as you wouldn't want to personalize an email as coming from or referencing "US Marketing Qualified Queue", etc. in an email.
I would check the records with blank 'Sales Owners' in SFDC. Most likely they belong to lead queues not SFDC users so aren't 'owned' by single person for personalization. For example you likely wouldn't want an email to come 'from' "Qualified Lead Queue - US".
'Sales Owner' is correct as it has replaced 'Lead Owner' (finally) after years of Marketing <> Sales terminology confusion. Not perfect but it's been rolling out with recent updates. Also, OP, keep in mind not all leads actually HAVE owners. If a SFDC lead is owned by a queue (not a user) that inform...

This has gotten even more critical with the new email editor 2.0 in Marketo. The ability to use variables is great and *almost* has saved us from having to have multiple versions of each of our templates as our different channel teams use different color sets. However the dreaded Gmail issue plagues...

Hi Derek,We've implemented this for some of our custom API ingest usages. I.e. created an "API Source" field and had the API write an appropriate name value to that field when records are created. The issue here is that this isn't something we're typically able to implement with the 'major' out-of-t...
