Subscribing! I'm very interested in this because we're trying to break the barrier between leads & contacts right now. We've been working on convincing our sales people to add contacts to their opportunities so that we can finally get some real reporting. I'd love to know how others are handling thi...
I am having huge issues with our possible duplicates list this week. We were down to 0 duplicates, but then we've had a few tradeshows & sales reps uploading a list into Salesforce (my nightmare!) that created about 200 again. I'm trying to do the clean up so we're back down to none, but every time ...
We've tried 2 different ways for organization to see which works best. What we've found is that there's always exceptions that can fit into more than 1 folder, but we generally organize by which sales group would handle the inquiries. With the way we are strucutured, we have a folder for our small m...

Here's what I set up in Marketo....And this is what I get in Salesforce... I'm not able to tell when looking at the record which lead/contact in the database the activity goes with.
I just did a workflow where when an email is sent, it is creating a task as a follow up in SFDC for the sales rep. The problem is that the task is not actually assigned to a contact, lead or account in Salesforce. The "Related To" field at the task level is empty. This means that my reps can't tell ...
I'm having a problem where Marketo is overwriting what our reps are listing for fields within Salesforce. Is there a way that I can make it that Marketo does not overwrite any Salesforce data unless the field was blank to begin with? I'm really struggling with this one and not sure how to set this u...
