This is the expected behavior. We do not validate filterValues, we perform a match against them. If there are no matches, the call was still a success, there are simply no results to return.
This is actually a mistake in the documentation, and offset and maxreturn are not valid parameters. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I will correct the doc.
Not sure that I understand what you're reporting here. What call are you sending and what are you considering and invalid value?
You would want the triggers for both of these events then. So Fills out form and Visits Web Page in your smart lists, instead of the Visited Web Page filter.
Could you clarify what conditions you want this campaign to trigger for? Do they need to have filled out a form and then have visited the page or...?
I would guess the you have prefill enabled for these form fields. Can you check in the form editor and make sure this is disabled?
API names are not editable. If you cannot use an alternative name, then support will need to remove this for you so you can create a new field.
API names are strictly case sensitive in Marketo.
Either that or a trigger campaign is writing that it. If you drill down into the Fill Out Form activity it will show you the values that were submitted through it.
