Is there a reason that you can't use the normal SFDC sync to pull down the custom objects from SFDC?
We have the change program success flow step for this reason. It allows you to change the success date of your program status, to adjust your attribution.
You want to use the "Is Empty" operator in the filter. That should return the results you're looking for.
