I am having the same issue. Marketo Engineering can do this but a a cost. My issue getting worst as all the mail are part of archived programs and Marketo search ignores archived program. I wish Marketo had a solution for this.

I am looking to have tags passed to SFDC for reporting purposes. If we create new fields the tracking via RCE become complicated, doesn't it?

I am having the same question. We are looking to pass tags to SFDC so we sales can look at SFDC report that include the Marketo tags. So far, i have not seen anything that tells me it is possible.Have you?
